The first session we Advise you to be home, however it isn't necessary. After the initial session, you can hide a key for us or you can leave them outside if its safe to do so. We can also come to your work if you bring your dog to work.
  • How is this different to walking my dog?
Slat mill dog training and normal walks differ significantly. Slat mills provide high-intensity workouts with adjustable resistance, focusing on muscle building and cardiovascular health in a controlled indoor environment, making sessions shorter and more rigorous. In contrast, normal walks use a leash and collar or harness, offering moderate exercise, mental stimulation, socialisation, and bathroom breaks in an outdoor setting, with longer and less intense sessions. Combining both methods can create a well-rounded exercise routine for dogs.
  • How long does it take them to feel comfortable?
They all learn at different speeds. Most dogs will usually take between 5-10 minutes for them to get completely used to it. Some may be be even longer but we will try our very best to make them feel comfortable.
